The toilet sewage discharge device is one of the essential equipment of underwater vehicle,which mainly relies on the differential pressure between high pressure gas and external water of the sea to discharge the sewage.The blowdown flow rate of the toilet sewage discharge device which is frequently used is large,therefore,the toilet sewage discharge device should run reliably and have long working life,low exhaust noise and no ability to discharge high pressure gas into the water of the sea outside the submarine.This paper designed the underwater toilet sewage discharge test device and studied the discharge performance,the influence factors of sewage discharge time,the applicability of liquid level sensor and emission noise.It provides a reliable basis for the design of the practical toilet sewage discharge device.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1)This paper analysised the existing underwater toilet discharge device,designed the underwater toilet discharge test device.The structure principle,working process,design and selection of the important components are described and analysised in detail.2)A mathematical model of sewage blowing process is established.For blowing cylinders,the mathematical model is derived from the three aspects include the isentropic flow release process of gas cylinders,the process of wastewater discharge in containers and the adiabatic expansion process of sewage containers and the characterization of sewage blowing differential equations of mathematic models for the process was given and the solution and discussion were given.For constant pressure blow off,the outlet flow calculation formula was derived according to Bernoulli equation.3)The fluent simulation software was used to compute the sewage blowing pr cess.The gas liquid distribution phase diagram at different times,outlet water volume flow curve and water volume change curve are obtained and the blowing out process was analyzed,which has certain guiding significance for practical design.4)The low pressure test,high pressure test,sensor suitability test and noise measurement of charging and discharging were carried out and we tested thecapacitive liquid level sensor out of the sewage container in addition.Based on the experimental data,the influence of the blowdown pressure,the discharge back pressure and the discharge pipe on the discharge time,the charging and exhaust noise of the container and the feasibility of the liquid level sensor are studied.Finally,the full text is summarized,and the prospect of future work is proposed.
