As one key component of active vibration control,the performance of actuator directly affects the vibration control effect.Mechanical spring will produce noise and prone to fatigue and fracture when used,and this makes the performance of electromagnetic actuator worse to a certain extent.In comparison to mechanical spring,magnetic spring has advantages of contactless,less prone to fatigue,reduced vibration and low noise,etc.A new type of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator based on the advantages of magnetic spring is presented in this paper,and relative experiments are carried out.Firstly,the design and optimization of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator.The design of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator is divided into two parts: the magnetic circuit design and the structure design,and the magnetic circuit design needs to consider the influence of magnetic circuit structure on output force and magnetic spring stiffness.Considering to the magnetic circuit simulation results,processing and installation,the structure of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator is determined.Secondly,the experimental study on output force of mechanical spring electromagnetic actuator.When other structures of actuator don't change and the frequency ratio is large,the output force of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator is same as the mechanical spring electromagnetic actuator.Based on this,three sets of mechanical spring electromagnetic actuator prototype are manufactured and some experiments are carried out to verify the magnetic circuit simulation of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator.Experimental results show that the magnetic circuit simulation is valid.Finally,the experimental study on the performance of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator.Characteristic tests of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator and single-channel experiment of active vibration control are carried out to verify the performance of actuator.The results show that the performance of magnetic spring electromagnetic actuator is good,and it can be used in the area of active vibration control.
