In recent years,pontoon industry has been a universal transport in alpine region like Heilongjiang province.In order to ensure the safety,checking of potoon's strength is significant,while there is no relevent standard about alpine region pontoon.To provide scientific and practical basis on design and building of pontoon in Sino-Russian Border River,and provide scientific,systematic and integrated basis on safty checking and management of pontoon,the method of pontoon stucture strength checking is to be studied.The main work contents are showed as follows:(1)In this paper,pontoon's loads in the case of frost period and ice period is studied,such as vehicle dynamic load,ice impact force,ice thermal expansive pressure,resistance and wave load of pontoon.(2)In the first,the finite element size,the method of vehicle loading and the dynamic cofficent of vehicle load is determented,then a method of using the stress result based on linear static multiply dynamic cofficent to calculate the stress result of transient response is studied,the experiment is used to prove the validity of the method.In addition,the distribution of the temperature field in ice and the stress of the pontoon responed by ice thermal expansive are calculated by using the FEM method.At last the stress impacted by wave load is studied(3)Considing the importance of the pontoon structure and the loads characters in both frost and ice period the load case which should be analyzed and the boundary condition are determined.The yielding and buckling strength criterions of the pontoon are booked by refering CCS's Rules,which are proved by the esult of a pontoon strength analysis.Two methods of structural optimization,transition region and aggregation of the thickness of plan,are studied.The structure that does not meet strength requirement is optimized.(4)The guidelines for strength analysis of pontoon in aplpine region are summarized,which are baesd on the studies above.
