With the great advantages of three-dimensional(3D)laser scanner in the field of deformation monitoring,the drawbacks of traditional measurement methods are avoided,and the operating environment of the operator is improved.And by 3D laser scanning technology,informatization in the field of engineering is realized.In view of the application prospect of 3D laser scanning technology and technological backwardness in China,in order to better serve the national economic construction,the applied research of 3D laser scanning technology is urgently needed.In view of the 3D laser scanning technology in the field of deformation monitoring did not form a complete set of theoretical systems and data processing methods,in order to improve 3D laser scanning technology in the pit deformation monitoring,the key technical issues and the data acquisition,data preprocessing,data registration,data modeling and result extraction are discussed in detail in this paper.The main research contents and results are as follows:1.The principle,the research status,the factors related with error,the applicable field and the problems existing in the field of the foundation pit deformation monitoring are systematically analyzed in this paper.2.Taking Focus3 D X330 scanner of FRAO as the checked object,a self-check method of terrestrial 3D laser scanner based on the constraint of control points is proposed.By using of accessorial symmetric bases,hemispheric target,and reference points measured by precise total station in the field,the longest distance of fitting coordinates of targets and the accuracy of the scanner for measuring distance,horizontal angle and vertical angle are checked.3.Optimal distance of the point cloud registration of the three-dimensional laser scanner is analyzed and a registration method based target distance constraint is proposed.By this registration method,with the point cloud is corrected by the error model which 5 error parameters are calculated by the distance constraint of 4 targets,multi-site cloud registration is completed.4.The data acquisition,data preprocessing,data registration,data modeling and result extraction are accomplished by using the 3D scanner for practical projects.A complete set of data acquisition scheme and data processing method are developed.Combined with the actual situation of the construction site,the scan data are processed accordingly.Combined with traditional monitoring methods,the correctness of the scan results is demonstrated.
