| This paper does research on ship structure safety which is the most significant factor of the ship safety under the technology background for ship safety.The paper takes an elaboration on the development background of "Goal Based Standard" and,the technology background of the "Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carrier(CSR-BC)" and "Common Structural Rules for Double Hull Oil Tanker(CSR-OT)" and development procedure of the "Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carrier and Oil Tanker(CSR BC&OT)".The paper takes brief introduction of research status Quo at home and abroad on ship structure and the CSR BC&OT.The paper compares the CSR and CSR BC&OT in the field of FE model,boundary condition,design load,assessment criteria and fatigue assessment.Paper introduces the details of computation procedure and key points for the ship structural safety and focuses on load patterns,equivalent design waves,local load application and ship hull load adjustment.Chooses 116000 deadweight oil tanker with one longitudinal bulkhead as object ship and does direct strength analysis for the three cargo hold model in the ship middle region.Under the selected 11 load cases,load cases B6’s stress is the highest and,the three cargo hold model’s stress can meet the CSR BC&OT’s requirements.The overall security of the three cargo hold model can meet the requirements for ship’s function.The Von Mises stress of object ship’s hopper low knuckle is out of the 85%rule’s criteria.After a fine mesh for the detail structure,the stress is out of the rule.The local structure is at risk.Advices of adding the plate thickness or enlarging the stiffener scantling can make a good contribution to the ship safety.This paper is based on CSR BC&OT which is newly issued by IACS,and it would be available for the research of strength and structure of relevant ships. |
