With the development of micro-spacecraft technology, small satellites have been developing to the direction of miniaturization and functional diversification.On-board computer has been pursuing high performance, high reliability, low cost and low power consumption.Traditionally,on-board computers have been designed by dedicated aerospace devices, which have been replaced by COTS on-board computers in recent years because of their limitations in performance, power consumption and cost.In order to enhance the performance of the on-board computer, modern COTS on-board computer use multi-machine parallel architecture accompany with weakness.COTS on-board computer is susceptible to space high-energy particles of radiation which may cause system's failure.Futher more,Becauseon-board computer'stasks are parallel, there are high-speed communication cables in need between different tasks, which will cause the system to enhance the complexity. In view of the above two problems, this paper puts forward to the structure of the on-board computer simulator based on multi-core processor, and studies its redundant working mode and its function.Aiming at the complexity of multi-machine parallel computer, this paper proposes and implements an architecture based on ADSP-SC589 triple core processor. In this paper, the on-board computer based on ADSP-SC589 commuciate among cores with a similar socket MCAPI way without the need for high speed cable supported, which can greatly simplify the multi-machine parallel system architecture, accompany with low volume and power consumption. This paper introduces the implementation process of the on-board computer simulator system in detail, including the realization of the key board, the bottom board andport board.Aiming at the problem that the COTS on-board computer simulator is susceptible to high energy particle interference, this paper proposes a on-board computer with dual redundant architecture. This paper designs the working mode of the dual-machine redundancy of the on-board computer simulator.Under the control of the arbiter, the on-board computer can automatic exchange between broken-down and spare machine, which can meet the basic fault tolerance of the on-board computer functional requirements.Basing on the relization of the on-board computer simulator system, this paper test modules of the single machine and fault working mode of dual-machine.The test for single machine includes core board function module test and stand-alone communication interface test. Two machine test mainly on the two-way arbitration switch. The test result shows that the on-board computer simulator can meet the system functional requirements.
