The urban railway has a strong public welfare.It is of great significance to properly deal with the relationship between efficiency and equity.With the rapid development of urban railway,the passenger travel demand is become more and more diverse,and the quality of travel is also increasing.When people pursue efficient,they should also think more about the transportation equity.The train timetable is the core problem of urban rail transit.The quality of train timetable will directly affect the efficiency and equity of urban rail transit.On the one hand,the timetable should save the cost of operation enterprises as much as possible and reduce the travel time of passengers;on the other hand,the timetable should ensures the equity of passengers' travel time.At present,there is not much research on this issue at home and abroad.Based on the above,from the point of view of mathematical modeling,this paper consider the efficiency and equity of urban railway timetable.The purpose is to provide new ideas and theoretical methods for the study of the existing timetable,and achieve the harmonious,efficient and fair development of urban rail transit and passenger travel.The research details is as follows:(1)First,based on the dynamic passenger demand,this paper studies the connotation of efficiency and fairness in the optimization of train timetable,and gives the feedback index of fairness and efficiency.The necessity of considering fairness and efficiency in the optimization of train timetable is illustrated with examples.Establish the theoretical foundation of train timetable optimization model by considering fairness and efficiency.(2)On the basis of the above theory,this paper considers the objective as efficiency and fairness.In the model,the train operation constraints and train capacity constraints are taken into account,and provided the calculation formulas for the left behind passengers.By analyzing the complexity and the characteristics of the model,a heuristic algorithm is designed to solve this problem.(3)The feasibility of the model and algorithm is verified by the Changping line(stop by stop)of Beijing Metro and the Jinshan line(skip-stop)of intercity railway.Present the influence on timetable model by considering the fairness and efficiency.By analyzing the index of fairness and efficiency,this paper concluded that the train timetable objective of efficiency and fairness takes account of the efficiency and fairness of train timetable.(4)The sensitivity analysis of the model is carried out,and discuss the influence of the parameters value on the quality of the timetable.It is found that the model proposed in this paper is effective,and the train timetable under different fairness and efficiency objectives are not the same.In practice,the relationship between the two must be dealt correctly.
