With the development and progress of automotive electronic technology,and the country's policy guidance for new energy vehicles,energy saving and emission reduction.The next generation models developed by the domestic car manufacturers have been equipped with electric power steering system.Automotive electric power steering system(EPS)has many advantages compared with the traditional hydraulic power steering system.The design,development,and matching methods of the traditional hydraulic power steering can't be applied to the electric power steering system,it is necessary to realize the dynamic model of the system and the function of software and hardware of the electric power of the in-depth study,the formation of effective development processes and methods.Based on the development and testing process of a certain type of electric power steering system,the whole process is described and recorded in detail:First of all,the electric power steering system structure and stress are analyzed,combined with the establishment of the two degree of freedom vehicle dynamic model EPS system dynamics model.Through the construction and calculation of the vehicle parameters,the parameters of the motor,torque sensor and deceleration mechanism of the EPS system are determined.Secondly,the analysis and design of electric power steering system hardware structure and software function,function of software and hardware on the steering system and vehicle performance by matching analysis,obtained the basic EPS system,power control,inertia damping control performance curve.Thirdly,based on the dSPACE hardware in the loop test platform,the test model of the electric power steering system is built and parameterized management.The hardware and software testing of the software and hardware functions of the electric power steering system are carried out.Verify the integrity of the software function and the system fault diagnosis function of the electric power steering system.Finally,based on the electric power steering system vehicle tuning software,the matching and adjustment of the software parameters of the electric power steering system are completed.Through the test of EPS system subjective and objective evaluation experiment,the development of a vehicle EPS system is completed.
