With the advancement of building industrialization,fabricated frame structure is applied more and more widely,steel plate shear wall has played a positive role in this development process.A large number of numerical simulations and experimental studies showed that the steel plate shear wall could promote the lateral stiffness and seismic performance of frame structure,especially for the structure design in high seismic region.Since the traditional steel plate shear wall had many disadvantages like premature buckle and tension field that brought negative effect on frames,this paper proposed a kind of crease steel shear wall on the basis of origami patterns,which could overcome the poor energy dissipation capacity of traditional steel plate shear wall.The crease steel shear wall was based on the origami patterns,which is composed of multiple cells that formed along with the combination mode.Under loading effect,origami of paper produced mechanical hinge on the crease.However,when the theory of the origami applied on the crease steel shear wall,plastic hinges were developed on the crease with the effect of the lateral load.A certain number of plastic hinges could improve crease steel plate shear walls' energy absorption ability under earthquake.This paper researched on its mechanical properties and hysteresis behavior and so on.Firstly,morphological analysis was done on 4 kind of origami cells,which mainly studied the deformation trend of origami cells and the creased steel plate shear wall.The deformation mode of the fractured steel plate shear wall under the lateral load was investigated,revealing its stress mechanism.Finally,the most reasonable origami cell of ? was obtained from the perspective of morphological analysis of four origami cells.Compared with origami pattern steel plate shear wall,the ultimate bearing capacity of the origami cell of WIV-45° was weakened by 10%,while the ductility was improved by nearly seven times.Secondly,this paper presented elastic-plastic buckling analysis on the origami cell of ? regularly composed crease steel shear wall.Changes of Parametric were analyzed to research the mechanical property of the steel shear wall.This parametric analysis was aimed at providing a reference about research and design of crease steel shear wall based on the analysis results.In this paper,the hysteresis behavior of the crease steel shear wall was analyzed in detail.Its mechanical behavior,energy dissipation capacity as well as failure mode were analyzed under low cyclic load.The hysteretic performance of each specimen was analyzed by the hysteresis curve,the skeleton curve and the energy dissipation coefficient.The energy dissipation coefficient of all specimens is close to 2.0,which showed that the crease steel shear wall owned good mechanical properties and high energy dissipation capacity when suitable parameters were chose in different height-space ratio of infill steel plate shear wall.Finally,based on the analysis of crease steel shear wall,the frame with crease steel shear walls was studied to research its properties when cooperating with frame.The results showed that the lateral stiffness of the structure was increased by nearly 1.3 times and the crease steel shear wall could not only promote the lateral stiffness of frame,but also improve its seismic performance.
