Steel plate shear wall is a new type lateral structures.It has high shear bearing capacity,well ductility,strong energy dissipation ability.This paper is aimed at a kind of the diagonal stiffener plate wall-diagonal stiffening steel plate shear wall,use the finite element method to research it's seismic behavior under cyclic loading.The content of the thesis are as follows:(1)By researching hysteretic curve of unstiffened steel plate shear wall and non stiffened steel plate shear wall under cyclic loading,analyzed the difference in seismic behavior between the two kinds of steel plate shear walls,the result show that the seismic performance of diagonal stiffening steel plate shear wall is better than non stiffened steel plate shear wall.(2)With a typical diagonal stiffening plate wall as an example,study the characteristics of out-of-plane distortion of the embedded steel plate and forming process of "pulling belt" under cyclic loading.Analysis the degradation of energy dissipation capacity of diagonal stiffening steel plate shear wall and its causes.(3)Study on the stiffness ratio of stiffener to frame column flexibility,embedded steel plate height to thickness ratio of three parameters on the diagonal stiffened steel plate shear wall hysteretic curve,energy dissipation and shear strength etc.The results show that Three parameters can be appropriately set to increase the energy dissipation performance,improve the hysteretic curve of the shear wall,improve the shear bearing capacity of the steel plate shear wall.
