| The materials mixed and stirred with components consist of various kinds of mineral aggregate,water,inorganic binders including cement,lime or lime-ash binders whose intensity meets the requirement of specifications are called materials stabilized with the inorganic binders,and this kind of materials are particularly widely used to construct the semi-rigid base courses in our country because of its high intensity,good platy structure and compressive capacity.It is showed by engineering practices in these years that early serious diseases were caused within the service life period,such as base erosion,cavity beneath slab and pumping of cement concrete pavement,the map crack,polygonal crack and pit slot of asphalt road surface caused by water-logging between structural layer and so on.The key factor of these diseases is insufficient capacity of anti-erosion.Scholars both in China and in western countries has carried out many studies of anti-erosion performance of materials stabilized with the inorganic binders,but there is still no agreed experiment apparatus.According to the analysis of the operating principles and characteristics of the existing apparatuses both in China and in western countries,the anti-erosion performance of materials stabilized with the inorganic binders cannot be reflected by most apparatuses,so it is especially important to develop a more actual and accurate apparatus.In order to provide theoretical basis for the development of experiment apparatus,typical materials stabilized with the inorganic binders including cement stabilized type and lime stabilized type were selected to be analyzed for their intensity formation principle and erosion principle.Classification and summary according to the operating principles of the existing apparatuses both in China and in western countries were done,the actual scouring condition of base courses considered.Finally,principles below are summarized according to the theoretical analysis,mainly including: simulating the actual scouring condition of basis course and reflect the actual condition as great a degree as possible,so the first requirement needed to be meet is making the apparatus be able to simulating the actual scouring condition of basis course.Then,in consideration of the experiments operated by this apparatus is in accordance with current specifications and the datum gotten from this apparatus are highly comparable and referable,the experiment method from < highway engineering inorganic material test specification for stable material >(JTG E51-2009)must be matched.And the apparatus must be conveniently-operated in consideration of its own operation method as well as the cost of its fabrication is supposed to be considered for its capability of being propagated.According to the principles above,methods adopted consist of: the adoption of the loader with top-down load mode and high-frequency vibration for simulating the actual scouring condition of basis course,loading force and its frequency in accordance with specification,utilization of steel frame with rubber blanket for reducing the error,adaption of dimension error of test specimen by increase the gaskets and decrease them,improvement of the operating convenience by installing the electronic counter and control panel.On this basis,the characteristics will be provided by the new scour apparatus for materials stabilized with the inorganic binders developed by means of creation and enhancement: actual scouring condition of basis course can be simulated,the dimension error of test specimen in the stipulation of specification can be adapted,the current specifications were matched and the result obtained by this apparatus are accurate,convenience,safety,capability of being propagated.The anti-erosion performances of various kinds of materials stabilized with inorganic binders will be actually precisely reflected by using the scouring apparatus of material stabilized with inorganic binders developed according to the principles above,meanwhile,some relationships will be found between anti-erosion performance and indicator including binders dosage,structure kind of mixture,fine aggregate content and curing period of the material and so on,then law of relationships above will be summarized for the road industry while achievements carried out by means of the experiment operated by this apparatus aiming at several kinds of widely-used materials stabilized with inorganic binders which will be an impellent for anti-erosion performances and even comprehensive performances of material stabilized with inorganic binders. |
