The expansive soil belongs to special soil,which has the characteristics of water loss shrinkage and water expansion,and also has the characteristics of multi-crack and overconsolidation.It is a global difficulty in geotechnical engineering.The distribution of the expansion soil is different from region to region,and the mechanical characteristics of the expansion soil in each region are different from that of the building foundation.Slope engineering of the water resources allocation in north ordos xiangyang section the culvert construction of expansive soil slope instability problems for many times,expansive soil problem has become the focus of the various contractors common.In this paper,the expansive soil mineral composition,physical and chemical properties,the mechanical characteristics and the characteristics of expansive soil classification method,etc were studied,using the literature research,indoor and outdoor experiments,field investigation,the methods of numerical simulation and field monitoring are analyzed in detail the engineering geological properties of expansive soil.In north ordos basin water resources allocation project expansive soil throughout duct jujube in Q2,Q3 formation,its dilatability influence significantly affected by regional climate environment,give priority to with montmorillonite mineral mineral composition,accounts for 15% ~ 25% of the total amount of mineral,cation exchange capacity of 18.4 ~ 34.5%,montmorillonite mineral content is higher,swell-shrink characteristics,the more obvious;Chemical composition of SiO2,Al2O3,Fe2O3 formed under the condition of soil particles in atmospheric zone with gel,K,Na,Ca,Mg and lively alkali metal oxidation-reduction reaction with oxygen and water,can make the further weathering of soil,more hydrophilic and swell-shrink deformation is more intense.This paper based on the water resources allocation in north ordos project distribution and fracture characteristics of expansive soil slope,the influence factors of slope stability research of engineering geological characteristics in detail.In the discovery of water resources allocation project ~ high slope stability is mainly affected by internal and external factors,the expansion of the expansive soil in the development of fractures and earth force,the content of mineral chemical composition,the cutting function of alluvial deposition interface is channels of expansive soil landslide or deformation of internal cause;The excavation of the soil in the ditches,the release of the stress of the soil,the continuous rainfall and the invasion of rain,and the failure of the soil resistance of the slope are the external causes of the formation of the deformation form or landslide.With the influence of internal and external factors,the unstable type is mainly based on gradual creep.This article through to the water resources allocation in north ordos engineering field sampling test the physical and mechanical parameters of slope stability calculation,using the finite element analysis of soil slope geotechnical analysis software GEO5 module for slope stability analysis,the Drucker-Prager(DP)material model is used to partition,and shear strength reduction for iteration calculation,to evaluate the stability of the slope,the slope stability problems of the project of canal section,cited by Yangtze river scientific research institute to develop the umbrella anchor reinforcement of expansive soil slope,the water resources allocation in north ordos project,xiangyang Yuan Chong tunnel test section used in engineering construction,found that umbrella bolt anchoring depth in 25 m,single umbrella anchor rod anchor head the anchoring force of up to 180 kn,can satisfy the requirement of the soil slope height is less than 30 m reinforcement.With umbrella anchor reinforcement Duan Bianpo safety monitoring results,showing the umbrella anchor reinforcement engineering of slope stability is good,compared with neighboring Duan Bianpo instability condition,can satisfy the pouring of concrete structures after the culvert of slope excavation construction,and ensure the safety of engineering machinery,personnel,and also verified the umbrella anchor reinforcement measures of expansive soil slope is effective and feasible,for the late in north ordos expansive soil water resources allocation project management provide strong technical support,has accumulated rich experience in engineering.
