Study On The Loss Characteristics Of Vehicle Collision

With the rapid development of automobile industry and the rapid growth of vehicle ownership,the issue of automobile safety has drawn attention.The issue of Automobile Safety should be considered not only from the aspect of protection of people,but also from the aspect of economic loss.Therefore,combined with the development trend of the vehicle and its auto insurance business,the concept of vehicle crash loss characteristics is put forward in this paper from the perspective of economic loss of vehicle.It is considered that the characteristics of automobile impact loss are the inherent attributes determined by its own structural design,layout and material characteristics.Based on the evaluation method of vulnerability of military aircraft,the issues of automobile impact loss is studied in the paper according to its own structural characteristics and data of automobile crash test,as well as relevant insurance claims dates.Through the methods of damage mode and effects analysis(DMEA)and vulnerable area,the evaluation model of automobile crash loss is established.First of all,the key components of automobile crash loss are determined by DMEA.Secondly,the value of automobile crash loss is evaluated by the vulnerable area method.Finally,curves under different collision directions of the vehicle are drawn respectively,with the crash velocity being taken as the abscissa and the loss value as the ordinate,and the comprehensive loss characteristic curve of the automobile is fitted.Finally,a certain type of vehicle is verified by the study of this paper.Research on the characteristics of automobile crash loss enriches and improves the concept of automobile safety.The characteristics of automobile crash loss provides a reference for automobile designers to improve automobile structure design and also provides theoretical support for the scientific reform of automobile insurance.
