The traditional Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks(VANET)method relies on vehicles to exchange data when they meet on the road.When the number of vehicle nodes in the network is large,it will cause the network topology to be complex and dynamic.On the one hand to bring a huge network routing overhead,on the other hand caused the instability of vehicle connections.LUV(Location Urban VANET),which focuses on this issue with private car,puts forward the concept of vehicle communicate in stationary and vehicle communication in zone to enhance the reliability and scalability of vehicle self-organizing network.In LUV,because the private car has its movement law is also random,which caused the LUV region link instability.Message Ferrying(MF)is a method to provide connection for disconnected nodes in network via specify some nodes as a ferry node(Ferry)to forward information.In this paper,we apply the message ferrying method to the LUV,the bus as the ferry node,using bus stability of the movement route,enhance the LUV area connectivity.This paper defines the feasibility of a message ferry scheme in a single zone,and adds the Message Ferrying scheme to the LUV area of Changsha.Firstly,we confirm the feasibility of linking a single ferry node to a node in a single zone and define the message ferry routing method(MFR).The experiments were carried out on the completely random distribution of nodes in the region and the distribution of random clusters and calculate the delay in both cases.The feasibility of the message ferry method in a single area is determined.Then we use SUMO simulation software to carry on the Changsha city bus movement simulation.After the simulation results were obtained,the Changsha area was divided as LUV zones.According to the situation of single bus forwarding and multi-trips forwarding,the connectivity of LUV area and the delay of interregional messages were analyzed.Then Comparing the performance of LUV network in pure private car.Finally put forward the most economical way of bus line deployment,to ensure maximum connectivity in the case of the choice of the least bus line.
