An Evaluation Research On Message Dissemination Scheme Of VANET Based On Reputation And Trust

With the continuous development and progress of information network technology, more and more high-end technology come into view of the general public and researchers. Vehicular has an obvious feature, which allows the vehicle to generate and broadcast a message to a neighbor vehicle. The neighbor vehicle can take different action to reply different traffic conditions according these messages. But this is built on these neighbors received message is reliable, because there will be some malicious vehicles may broadcast malicious messages that disturb traffic environment. These malicious messages will lend grave and terrible consequences, such as traffic jams, even threaten our life. So, except the basic of reliable message dissemination, we also need to deal with the reliability of the message. Moreover, Vehicular has other requirements, like privacy, safety and so on. Thus, in the future, it is important to design a message dissemination scheme that ensure the effective dissemination of messages and warranty message reliability evaluation. Combined message reliability evaluation, the message dissemination programs will be more strong and more be easy to implementation.In this thesis, research contents are shown as follows:(1) Explored the vehicle networking information dissemination methods, and then generalized the characteristics and needs of the message dissemination programs. These shows that a lot of message dissemination schemes do not resolve message reliability problem.(2) Explored the different ways of processing message reliability in different network, and then generalized the characteristics and needs of the message reliability processing in vanet.(3) Combined message reliability and message dissemination, this thesis propose a scheme that could meet two necessary needs. The whole program is based on a group signature scheme. It’s the basic of the message transmission, we use trust module to evaluation the reliability of messages in the stage of receiving messages, and then use a reputation module to strengthen the credibility of vehicles. This realized the tight junctions between message reliability and message dissemination. In a word, we implement a message dissemination scheme that not only ensure the quality of message content, but also guarantee the quality of message dissemination.(4) This thesis implement a simple simulation evaluation by simulation experiments. It can be divided into several areas, including if group signature(analog the cornerstone of message dissemination) could satisfy the needs of vehicular, how trust module affect average speed of vehicles. And in the end, We simulated the advantage of reputation module, reputation module could decrease the number of malicious vehicles. Experiment shows that our scheme is good to carry out in VANET.
