As one of the most prefabricated buildings in modular construction,modular building has gradually become the focus of industrialization of architecture in China because of its unique advantages in construction,management and green environmental protection.However,the domestic research on modular building is still scarce,which is not conducive to the development of modular buildings in china.Therefore,this paper refer to the related technical research of the modular building,studies the modular building node performance,overall structural performance and structural system design,the main contents are as follows.(1)A new type of modular steel frame plate type inner sleeve connection node is proposed.The inner sleeve is used to realize the vertical connection of the module units,and the connecting plate is used to fix the inner sleeve to realize the horizontal connection of the module units.The inner sleeve and the modular steel frame column in the factory pre welding construction site through subsequent installation,greatly improve the construction efficiency.(2)By changing the thickness of connection plate and inner sleeve,seven models of new plate-inner sleeve joint of the steel modular frame finite element are established by ABAQUS finite element analysis software.And analyses are made in terms of the stress at the key position of each specimen to study the monotonic static performance and seismic performance of the new modular steel frame plate type inner sleeve connections.The plastic hinge is formed in the connection area between the steel beam and the square steel pipe column under the ultimate bearing capacity,and the inner sleeve and the connecting plate are far from yielding.The stress concentration phenomenon occurs at the edge of the hole due to the change of section modulus.It is suggested that the circular hole around the connection plate should be processed to eliminate or reduce the stress concentration phenomenon.Change the plate thickness and the thickness of the inner sleeve bearing little impact force and seismic performance of the joint,but the increase in the thickness of the inner sleeve sleeve canimprove the local stress state,reduce the inner sleeve pressure areas of stress concentration,proposals should be greater than or equal to the thickness of tube wall thickness of steel pipe column.(3)The modular steel frame structure model is established by ABAQUS finite element analysis software to study the lateral performance and seismic performance of the whole structure.The stress distribution of the beam and column was analyzed by extracting the stress path at the critical position.Modular steel frame structure in the column under low cyclic loading hysteretic curves of spindle shaped,stiffness degradation trend is gentle,has a good seismic performance.The bearing capacity limit state under the framework of the beam flange and column connection area of the plastic hinge,the inner sleeve and the connecting plate is far from the yield,meet the design requirements of strong node weak component ".(4)The design contents of modular structural system for steel structure are summarized.The nodal domain of a new modular steel frame plate type inner sleeve connection node is calculated.Finally,taking a four story modular dormitory building as an example,the modular steel frame structure system is designed and calculated,which can provide reference for the design of modular steel frame structure system.
