| Electric vehicle offer substantial benefits compared to the fuel vehicles such as silent engine,zero emission,and noise reduction benefits,meeting world technology platform for environmental goals,socio-economic benefits in world particularly in china.The overall aim of the project is to provide optimized pack design and im-proved both active and passive safetyIn this paper firstly pack 3D structure model established and establishes mesh upon it.Then pack arranged in the lower part of the floor and the rear seat,arranged according to the structure of the vehicle.secondly Since pack is influenced by different levels of vibration caused by two conditions,(1)External environment(2)inside the vehicle.so to verify the designing demand that meet the strength of designed pack’s structure for anal-ysis of bumpy road and sudden braking on the pack in vertical direction inertial force f=mg= 2197.4N applied.The analysis shows the max stress 131mpa and deformation is 1.092mm.for analysis of the bumpy road turn inertia force is applied to the left side of the battery cover.Stress is 195.4mpa,deformation is 1.77 mm.additionally,and dynamic analysis of pack analyzed so smallest nat-ural frequency is 34.4 Hz which is greater than the excitation frequency due to road imbalance.Overall,pack structure design is reasonable and feasible.Finally for the electric vehicle side collision Simulation is established.Result shows that some parts don’t have enough strength,energy absorption is inade-quate.Deformation of central parts is too large,the intrusion quantity and speed...of parts is larger.Therefore,some key parts has optimized the optimize results show that B-pillar 38%optimized and its stress improved by 2 factor of safety and Pack optimized two fold.B-Column optimized by 54.3%.The model energy absorption increased almost 50%of the total energy,and there has been a sig-nificant improvement.Model deformation and stress improved and satisfies the collision safety.The deformation of the key parts decrease after the optimiza-tion.No squeezing of the battery pack,Optimization effect is remarkable. |
