With the rapid development in the computer science,nowadays,more and more intelligent design has come out in the field of design industury.The parametric design has emerged in China and with the advantage of the capacity of rapid adjustment in the design process,it has become a better tool for the designers,compared with the traditional design process.The multi-objective optimization algorithm as an screening mechanism,by setting a purality of targets,is able to find the best solution in the gene pools.In recent years,China put more attention on the environment,and the energy conservation buildings has become a rising concern.However,as the energy-saving evaluation is not included in the traditional design process,the evaluation system thus turns to be a superficial chart.And because of the complexity of the evaluation process,it is difficult to be involved in the preliminary stage of the design.Parametric design makes a bridge for architecture design and the architecture model simulation.A better formal solution,the Useful Daylight Illuminance index and Energy Use Intensity incorporating mixed mode natural ventilation index as targets,can be decided by the multi-objective optimization algorithm.In this rearch,some softwares are used as platforms for architectures.Grasshopper in Rhinoceros is the platform for programming,Ladybug+Honeybee is the simulation platform and Octopus is the platform for multi-objective optimization.As a result,the form-finding design process has a rational data basis and designers will have a possibility of a new way for form deign.
