With the development of the economy and the growing demands in electricity,power generation enterprises as the power producers develop rapidly.At the same time,the environment has been worsely contaminated accompanied by this development.the emissions of pollutants have a great impact on people's life at different levels.So the new thermal power plant of air pollutant emission standards formally implemented throughout the country in 2014.the new specification reveals more stringent restrictions in the quantity of pollutant discharged from power plants and in some key areas.Sulfur dioxide emission limited its value by 50mg/m3,the new thermal also be called "the most stringent standards within the memory of humankind".So power generation enterprises must respond actively to national policy in environment if they want to maintain a sustained,stable and healthy development in such a background.On the one hand we should play a ""contributor" in electricity production,on the other hand we must perform the duty of pollution control actively and act as a "controller".This article will launch research from design and application of its ultra-low in a setting of power plant of xiagang,the paper main research content is specifically as follows:1.Introduce the situation of on-scene investigation,including the boiler situation,the coal situation,engineering specifications,hydro meteorology,the existing flue gas desulfurization system,the overall arrangement of xiagang power plant,draw a conclusion that the existing flue gas desulfurization unit was unable to meet the existing emission standards through analyzing the operation of the existing flue gas desulfurization facilities,demonstrate the necessity of raise efficiency retrofits in flue gas desulfurization system.2.Introduce and compare the desulphurization crafts which are frequently-used and high-efficiency,to fix the reconstruct solution of the desulphurization crafts which is degressive trend and binary plants combined with the power plant's actual situation while some considerations on the existing flue gas desulfurization facilities,the short project duration,the limited floor space of the power plant and the transformation have to adapt to the changes in coal burning sulfur and the other factors are needed.3.Evaluate the existing flue gas desulfurization facilities on the basis of the new desulphurization craft,including the oxidation air system,the flue gas system,the absorbing agent supply system,Process water system,etc.Determine the system of reconstruction and the equipment modification plan after assessing and analyzing.4.Analyze the running effect and the environmental protection benefit when finished the reconstructing,take the boiler of no.3 and no.4 which belongs to power plant of xiagang as examples in the text,we reach a decision that the average concentration of sulfur dioxide emissions is 20mg/m3 and removal efficiency can be up to 99.42%as a result of desulferized renovation,it realizes the goal setting in advance that Ultra-low emissions,it proves the modified scheme is practicable,in addition,this text make a simple analysis on the economic benefit of the desulfurization project of xiagang power plant,the result shows that the economic benefit is very considerable.
