Semiology is interdisciplinary science which involve many knowledge.It known as an analytical tool which is useful and systematic.This article tries to analyze the traditional graphics of Zhuge Bagua Village according to the perspectives and way of semiology,and apply it to the design of cultural and creative products.The formation of Traditional graphics is derived from economic foundation,as well as the reflection of politics,economy,morality and ethic.The graphics of Zhuge Village is the combination of local culture and picture figures,it show the rich content by the diversity of symbolic form.There is no doubt those charming and cultural graphics demonstrates and represent the character of unique of the village.From designers' point of view,those are the basics of products' individual style and attraction.In contrast,with the analysis of the cultural and creative local products,a large number of products fall into a sea of sameness,they are superficial,they can not show off the local culture,let alone the arts beauty and visual expression.It harms the comprehensive development of the local cultural and creative products' market,besides it misses the opportunity of reappear of traditional graphics by modern design.Take a panoramic view of the situation of cultural and creative products market,headed by museums,they create different and vivid products through the special principles refer to practicability,cultural and affectivity.Traditional graphics are the object of study and semiology is the guidance of theory.This article study Zhuge Village' graphics and the application through semiology from six sections.Part one is introduction,it roughly states the situation of research and literature review,it is the foundation of theory.Part two,it demonstrates the theory basis of semiology and analyze cultural and creative products,which come to a conclusion that semiology has profound guiding significance for cultural and creative products' design.Part three,the article analyze the traditional graphics through graphics,sculpt,color and carriers.These four sections build the expression of graphics content,and transfer the content by communication.It comes from the lucky meanings,codes,communication,function and meanings for expressing.Part four,it concludes two thoughts,literal translation and innovative design,by analyzing the method of great cultural and creative products.Bases on these two thinking,there comes five design-oriented.Part five,it is practice research,and the article concludes the disadvantages of products and guidance through market research.By the guidance of above thoughts,it draws plans and presents works from five aspects,copying,function,interestingness,the form and spirit,and thoughts.Part six,it shows the achievements and late research,it summarizes the article and thinking.This article analyze the semiology and bring it into the research of Zhuge Bagua Village's graphics,and explore the way about designing culture and creative products.It has a certain degree of theoretic value,as well as guiding significance for practicing.I hope my research will be the guide for design development of cultural and creative products in ancient town.
