As China's economic development and population growth, car sales rise. While the car bringing great convenience to people,it bringing pollution and great energy crisis to the environment constantly at the same time. The emergence of electric vehicles has become the only solution to this problem. As a result of the extensive application of electric vehicles, wheel motor has been more extensive development space.Electric vehicle usually use field oriented control to drive the hub motor, which needs low noise and high dynamic performance.Field oriented control makes motor having low noise and low torque ripple, but the control effect usually depends on precise rotor position information.Because hall sensors can't provide rotor angle,so it's hard to use hall in field oriented control. To solve this problem, considering hall and motor's specific characteristics, this paper proposes a new hybrid control strategy. And because hall signals often contain errors which were made by machining or install, this paper presents a new Hall signal correcting online method.Through the study of phase relationship between the nonconducting back electromotive force and hall signals,a new hall signal calibrate method.Compared to the traditional calibration way which needs line back-EMF,the new method greatly reduces dependence on motor parameters and interference made by harmonic.Through MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation and experiment, proved that this control strategy makes wheel motor using FOC control and having good dynamic performance, and has sufficient practicality and reliability, making motor more efficient, meeting the performance requirements of the electric vehicle very well.
