Along with the fast development and technology innovation of mining enterprises,large equipment is applied more frequently.The electric network pollution has changed to be diversified.The operation of large scale electric shovel and drill is taken as an example.The power load and nonlinear load of this kind of equipment is very large.Once the voltage drop of open pit increases,it could cause all the load low voltage protection on the same line be tripped.On the other hand,once the large scale equipment stops using the power,it could cause the voltage of the same line shock rise which results in the voltage rise in a short time,impact on load,damage the equipment,affect the equipment normal operation,at the same time,it brings the problem of power factor loss.This paper analyzes the effect on electric network when the electric shovel at Dexing Copper Mine is in operation,and analyzes the certain data,such as low power factor,large voltage drop and three phase balance.The design of dynamic reactive power compensation compensates the electric network of electric shove.An IGBT device consisting of 12 units connected in series in each phase is adopted in hardware.The digital control signal mode is adopted in software,which realizes the dynamic compensation,high hardware requirement and high software accuracy control.After the theoretical design,analog simulation and hardware implementation of the device,we install it on the electric network of electric shovel in the open pit of Dexing Copper Mine.According to the track of final actual operation,the designed reactive power compensation device solves the voltage drop problem during electric shovel operation,solves the voltage drop problem when electrical shovel is in operation,and the reactive power factor decline problem of electrical network,improves the operation quality of electrical network,and increases the operation efficiency of electric shovel finally.
