Because of the great advantages of electric vehicles(EVs)on energy saving and emission reduction,the EV has become the new developing form of vehicle.And thus the EVs are developing fast in recent years.The power of the EVs is coming from electricity.However,the integration of large scale EVs brings challenge to the safe and stable operation of the distribution network.Meanwhile,with the developing of the vehicle-to-grid(V2G)technology,the EVs have become the available resources to assist the operation of the distribution network.The integration of the aggregated EVs is studied in this paper.And three aspects are concluded in my research.1)Based on the battery characteristic and the travelling behaviors of EVs,the model of the energy storage capability and the carbon emission potential is developed in chapter 2.The lower and upper boundaries of the response capacity and the energy storage capacity from EVs can be obtained with the model.Meanwhile,the carbon emission potential from EVs can be evaluated in the perspective of lifecycle with the model.2)Based on the response capability of active and reactive power from EVs,the charging strategies with variable power value and constant power value are developed to change the power factor.Then the impact on the voltage of the distribution network from the EVs with different charging strategies is analyzed in chapter 3.The charging peak load is reduced and the reactive power is provided by reducing the charging factor of EVs.Thus the voltage level of the distribution network is improved.3)In order to offset the power fluctuation of the load in the distribution network with large scale photovoltaics,a load smoothing control strategy is developed considering the charging and discharging capability of EVs.With evaluating the power fluctuation rate of the load,the power fluctuation rate is controlled within the preset threshold by dispatiching the charging and discharging process of EVs.
