The hysteresis motor is widely used in gyroscope,with the characteristics of self-starting,simple structure and so on.It is also widely used in the national defense and aerospace.As the key component,the degree of accuracy and reliability of the gyroscope are directly influenced by the hysteresis motor.In this paper,a research on the theory and electromagnetic design of the hysteresis motor have been conveyed,main contents are as follows.First,the basic theory of the hysteresis motor was stated.According to the hypothesis of molecule magnet,the mechanization of torque produced by hysteresis was analysed.And the formula of hysteresis torque was computed.Then,the progress of motor design was proposed.According to the given conditions,the plan of design was confirmed.Based on the equivalent of magnetic circuit modeling,the parameter of the motor was calculated and the electromagnetic design was accomplished.The motor,discussed in this paper,adopted the form of inner-stator and outer rotor.The magnetic material with obvious hysteresis effect was adopted.The dimension of radial was reduced to the maximum extent.Proceed to the next step,the structure of gyroscope was more compact and smaller size.Finally,the model machine was made.And the test was carried on.Compared to the experimental results of the model machine,the reasonable of the design and the accuracy of calculating were proved.Hysteresis motor,used for a type of floated gyroscope was researched in this paper.To a certain extent,reference was supplied by the design of this type of motor.
