Thermal power is still the main way of generating in our country in the current and future.In the cause of thermal unscheduled shutdown,boiler accidents accounted for more than 70%,half of the boiler accidents are caused by the water wall tube damaged.As a result,the boiler water wall tube detection has very important significance in service to the safe operation of the boiler unit.The ways of the water wall detection methods are simple,cannot satisfy the requirement of the modern systematic automation water wall detection.This paper makes a deep analysis and research for this problem and design the key technologies on the water wall on-line detection system such as digital image processing and ultrasonic thickness measurement.First of all,based on the detection of boiler water wall profiles and the analysis of characteristics of defect in this paper,the overall detection scheme is designed.Based on digital image processing and analysis of key technology principle of the ultrasonic thickness,demonstrates the feasibility of the detection scheme,provides ample theoretical support for the design of the system each function module implementation.Secondly,according to the overall detection scheme,designed the image processing module and the ultrasonic thickness measurement module,among them,Image processing module mainly completes the grayscale image,filtering enhancement,threshold segmentation,binary image noise removal and edge detection and so on,to realize the identification and annotation of water wall surface defects;Ultrasonic thickness module mainly completes ultrasonic transmitting circuit,ultrasonic receiving circuit,time measurement circuit and the design of the main control circuit and so on and the corresponding underlying software development,implementation of water wall tube thickness measurement.Finally,based on the integration of each function module,have a test for the relevant,the system can realize water wall of the image acquisition,automatic identification and annotation of water wall defect;Through the analysis of experimental data,calibration of the performance index,the thickness module has good measuring precision,sensitivity and stability,the measurement indexes meet the testing requirements.This system can complete the task of water wall detection,have relatively broad application prospects.
