The development of container sea-rail transportation has further promoted the development of sea-rail transportation nodes. At this stage, the competition among ports and terminals is becoming fiercer. How to improve the trans-shipment efficiency, improve the operating efficiency of loading and unloading equipment resources and maximizing the utilization of space resources is the key to enhance the core competitiveness of sea-rail transportation. In the sea-rail transportation, due to the ship and trains cannot be totally matched in quantity and time, containers generally need to be stored in the yard until the ship or train complete loading operations.Due to the limited space and equipment resources of the storage yard,it is very important to make reasonable allocation of slot for containers so that the resources of the yard can be utilized effectively.Based on the above analysis, combined with the actual operation of the container yard, the impact of trains on the location of containers is taken into account when allocating containers for imported containers. This paper first analyzes the operation characteristics of the train to port mode, and find the two main factors which affect the distribution of container space in this mode, namely the amount of container relocation and the moving distance of track gantry.Because the container relocation to a certain extent increased the burden of handling equipment, thereby increasing the total time of the operation, and relocation operation does not produce any economic benefits, resulting in a waste of equipment resources,so the location of the containers should be reasonable planning, try to minimize the amount of relocation in the yard. The assignment between different bays is completed through the rail gantry,if the moving distance between the two adjacent operations is too long,it will affect the completion time of container operation. Therefore, considers the influence of these two factors when choosing the storage space for imported containers, the optimization model of this paper is designed. The objective function is to minimize the total cost of operation, including the cost of relocation and the moving cost of the rail gantry. Then, the AMPL is designed to verify the applicability and feasibility of the model.Considering that the timeliness of the AMPL is relatively poor,a heuristic algorithm is designed to solve the model according to the characteristics of the model.By comparing with AMPL,The performance of the algorithm is verified. Then, several parameters that affect the objective function are compared and solved, and the influence of different factors on the solution is analyzed. The container stacking optimization model designed in this paper can provide certain reference for the terminal decision-makers.
