With the development of modern information technology and transport, countriesin the world Contact increasingly closely. Economic exchanges between countriesbecome more frequent, and the value of foreign trade is continuously rising which isbecoming the main source of state revenue.Container shipping transport has becomethe main mode of transport of foreign trade because of its advantages of highefficiency, low cost, high standardization and so on. The number of containersrocketed. In the use of cargo containers to transport goods, the containers areinevitably moved from some ports where the amount of containers is sufficient toother ports where the amount is poor, resulting in empty container distributionproblem which spends a lot of transportation costs. The container re-handling problemexists in the ports which are moving the container from one place to another. It willcost a lot of time and human resources. This paper addresses optimization of foreign trade port container transportationmanagement system. First of all, research background and significance, these ideasresearch results, and the theoretical foundation of port container are reviewed, layinga solid theoretical foundation for the subsequent analysis in theory. Secondly, thecorrelation theories based on rules, operational research and ordering method and theoptimization of the scheduling management system of the key technologies arereviewed. Thirdly, under the assumption that the containers of same specifications caninstantly meet current needs, otherwise containers leasing is adopted, Heuristicalgorithms are performed by solving empty container transportation between the portand multiple ports. Then we can attain the optimal strategy with minimum cost; Finally, the directed search algorithm is performed to solve the problem of containerre-handling by building a global evaluation function and local evaluation function todetermine the width and orientation of the search filter width, seeking the least costlyfarm bridge, and then draw conclusions and summarize of the full text.
