Nowadays,under the background of sluggish shipping market,energy conservation and emission reduction have become major issues in the shipping industry.In order to reduce the operating cost of the ship,the shipping company adopts the strategy of reduced speed navigation.The reduced speed navigation can reduce the operating cost of the ship by reducing the fuel consumption of the main engine to achieve energy saving and emission reduction.Therefore,choosing the optimal speed of the ship is the key to studying the reduced speed navigation.In order to reduce the main engine fuel consumption during the operation of the ship,this paper studies the optimization of the ship segmentation speed and provides the theoretical basis and technical support for the shipping company to improve the operating economics of the ship.Firstly,This paper analyzes the various resistances of the ship in the wind and waves and the impact of resistance on the navigation of the ship.After establishing the computational models of various resistances in ship navigation,a calculation model of ship speed loss in wind and waves is established on the basis of the theoretical meaning of ship speed loss,which lays the foundation for the route division of ships.Based on the actual operational data of the target vessel,the main engine fuel consumption rate database with high accuracy is obtained by using the three-dimensional surface interpolation.Through the calculation of the ship resistance and the search of the main engine fuel consumption rate database,the main engine fuel consumption model under the condition of constant speed navigation is obtained.It provides the data foundation for the research of segmentation speed optimization.Secondly,the meteorological information on the target route is obtained from the ECMWF,and the meteorological data of the target ship over time are obtained through linear interpolation.The division of route segmentation is the basis of segmentation speed optimization.Based on the theory of time clustering,this paper studies the segmentation clustering analysis based on the time-series of the ship's speed loss in the waves and waves.And this paper divided target route into 12 segments combined with the physical turning point.In this paper,the aim is to minimize the main engine fuel consumption and establish a segmentation speed optimization model.Finally,based on the characteristics of the segmentation speed optimization model and the calculation of the optimal solution,this paper proposes a segmentation speed optimization intelligent algorithm based on the simulated annealing to solve the model.The optimal configuration parameters of the algorithm are studied when solving the segmentation speed optimization model.According to the target route of the target ship selected in this paper,the optimization model of the segmentation speed is solved and simulated.The simulated voyage main engine fuel consumption at the optimal segment speed saved 2.4%compared with the actual operation of the target ship,and 1.7%less than the main engine fuel consumption under the average speed sail strategy.The research results of this paper can effectively solve the problem of segmentation speed optimization.Not only can guide the crew to manipulate the ship,but also can improve the shipping company's operating economics.
