With the increase of the world energy shortage and global greenhouse gas emissions,energy conservation and emission reduction is an important subject in the modern era.For the shipping industry,ship operation process must meet the current IMO requirements of carbon emissions,together with the shipping industry downturn,energy conservation and emission reduction has become the primary task in the process of the shipping operation.Through the operation of the ship when the control of fuel consumption to improve the energy saving operation of the ship is a common strategy to deal with these challenges.This paper takes one voyage of the target ship"YuZhongHai" as the research object,through the route segment speed optimization method and piecewise,in pursuit of voyage fuel consumption as the target of minimum energy within the ship voyage.First of all,analyzes all kinds of resistance when ship on a voyage,and gives the corresponding calculation method.To lay a theoretical foundation for the following system modeling and simulation through the research on the relationship between diesel engine and characteristic analysis of ship engine propeller.Secondly,select the target ship and calculate the relevant parameters,establish the motion mathematical model of ship-engin-propeller.Through the simulation of MATLAB/Simulink on each sub system model,and then established the motion simulation model of ship-engine-propeller.Then according to the relationship between the speed and fuel consumption rate at the target engine bench test,establish the main engine fuel consumption rate model by least squares fitting after correction.Again,select the target ship on a voyage(Dalian-Singapore)as the research object,through the latitude and longitude of the track fitting operation data,find the inflection point track;clustering using time series method to the similar meteorological conditions flight were classified,and clustering by inflection point to determine the route segment,then complete route segments.And then establish the relationship model between the fuel consumption and speed of the voyage segment.Finally,combined with the above analysis,according to the relation model of total fuel quantity and engine speed in voyage establish the optimization function to minimize the total fuel consumption,through the optimization of genetic algorithm to calculate the results,put the optimization results of the engine speed into the simulation model to calculate the optimization speed corresponding to the relevant parameters of the main engine fuel consumption rate,and then calculated the ship sailing time and voyage fuel consumption after optimization.The simulation result shows that,by optimizing the ship speed of the whole section in the voyage,the ship gives managers the corresponding main engine speed is significant for enhancing the energy conservation operation of the ship.
