Hinge is the deployment solar wing connection component,and its successful development is the key for the solar wings to work normally.To meet the needs of large area solar cell wings,it is required to design a high-stiffness hinge mechanism that the fundamental frequency of the solar cell wings is no less than 0.15 Hz.Meanwhile,high-stiffness hinge mechanism should have characteristics of large preload,small size,light weight.So it can provide technical support for solar cell wings that can be used wildly in the future.Firstly,this paper focuses on the research of high rigidity hinge mechanism of solar cell wings.First of all,through the investigation of hinge type used at home and abroad,and combined with the requirements of the project,this paper designs a high-stiffness hinge that uses spring preloading hinge and whose scroll spring is the driving way.Then in order to further reduce the rotation of the shaft clearance,this paper uses two parallel preloaded deep groove ball bearings to increase dynamic stiffness of the hinge.Secondly,using ADAMS software simulates the hinge that is designed in this paper to gain the trigger force in the process of locking and test the feasibility of the hinge locking scheme theoretically.Because the hinge itself has a large preload,the finite element software ANSYS analysis is used to check the static strength of the cam,arm,passive hinge,active hinge and the main hook.The static stiffness and dynamic stiffness of the hinge are analyzed by finite element analysis software ANSYS under the premise of satisfying the strength requirement of the hinge,and the theoretical values of the static stiffness and dynamic stiffness of the hinge are obtained.Thirdly,in order to analyze the performance of the hinge in the solar wing,the finite element software ANSYS is used to analyze the whole solar wing modal that solar wing board and connecting frame are included.So the first 7 order modes is obtained.The influence of the stiffness of the hinge on the solar wing formation is obtained by analyzing the modal formation at different frequencies of the solar wing.In order to achieve the hinge lightweight design requirements,modal sensitivity analysis is applied to the main forced hinge components to provide the basis for the hinge lightweight design.At last,according to the hinge analysis including dynamics and statics,the prototype of the hinge is manufactured.The hinges sre tested,including the static stiffness test,the dynamicstiffness test,the deployable torque test and the unfolding mode test of the hinge on the solar cell wings.The experimental data verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
