When the ship is sailing in the unpredictable, surging waves of the sea,due to the effect of waves, the hull may be damaged. Therefore, the strength of the hull sailing in the waves is a worthy research task, which can provide more reliable guarantee for the safety of the ship's navigation. In order to accurately determine the structural strength of the hull when navigating in the sea, this paper chooses the ANSYS WORKBENCH fluid-solid coupling platform, computes the force of the whole hull in the hydrostatic or wave by the computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT.Then the force of the whole hull is coupled into the static analysis, instead of transmitting the load through the program, increasing the accuracy of the study of the ship's stress and deformation. The main work of this paper will start from the following aspects:1?The two-dimensional wave water flume is used to customize the velocity boundary conditions related position and time, and the volume of water in the two-phase flow as a percentage of the total volume of the tank by the UDF macro DEFINE_PROFILE(name,thread,index),so as to realize the simulation of three order stokes wave and achieve the wave-absorbing effect. And the wave equation of the four kinds of different length wave regions are compared and analyzed. At the same time, the numerical simulation of stokes third-order wave and theoretical wave are compared and analyzed, which proves the feasibility of wave generation.2?The flow field model is established to analyze the hydrostatic pressure and dynamic pressure of the whole hull under 14 kn / h speed. The unidirectional fluid-solid coupling is carried out through the workbench platform. In the static field, the finite element model of whole hull is established.the force of the whole hull is coupled into the static analysis, then the stress and deformation of the whole hull are analyzed.3?In order to calculate the loads of two kinds of limit states(namely, the sagging and hogging)in the hull, the UDF function is written according to the fifth-order wave parameters of the third-order wave of stokes and the numerical wave flume is simulated. The whole hull is put into the wave, and the load distribution in the limit state of the sagging and hogging is obtained and then coupled into the static fied. The stress and deformation of the whole shipunder full load and no load conditions are compared and the strength meet the standards.4?Based on the similarity theory, the similar conditions of the wave action on the structure are deduced, and the stress-strain similarity relation is obtained. Then the numerical simulations of the original model and the similar model are carried out under similar conditions,The results are compared and analyzed to verify the similar conditions of wave action on the structure and the relationship between stress and strain.
