With the rapid development of the automobile industry and the demands of users on the driving experience,domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers increase the research on automobile quality,and the control of automobile brake noise is one of the most important ones.This paper first analyzes the mechanism and the development of automobile brake noise.Silencing sheet is an important component,which takes effects of damping vibration in the process of brake vibration and noise transmission.Much research has been done on the silencing sheet,and most of the work is done on a single optimization basis.Based on the comprehensive domestic literature,this paper focuses on the optimization of the multi-objective parameters of the silencing sheet,and mainly studies the following research:Based on the method of complex modal analysis,the vibration differential equation is established based on the braking vibration.The damping ratio of the system is obtained and concluding that the damping ratio is negative,the order mode is unstable mode.The probability of unstable mode(PUM)is introduced as a quantitative index to stimate the tendency of noise.Based on Solidworks,a 3D model of brake is established with the different silencing sheet.Mesh,set different material parameters,set contact surfaces and define interaction in the Hypermesh.Define boundary conditions,do the complex mode experiment to analyze the mode of the output in the Abaqus,which verify accuracy of the model.The elastic modulus,the thickness of damping layer and the ratio between the damping layer and the substrate layer are selected as the parameter targets.Set response surface based on Central Composite Design and do twenty pairs of experiments,which output the PUM.Analyze the influence of each factor on the output result and the influence of every two factors,and the influence of three factors on the braking noise is concluded.Choose the fitting function as objective function and find the best parameter combination through ant colony algorithm in the setting content.Build new model,mesh,and do the simulation experiment of complex mode by the new data,which indicates the PUM decreases obviously.The analysis results obtained in this paper can provide theory and data basis for the optimal design of the silencing sheet,and it is helpful to reduce the development cost and improve the design effect of the silencing sheet.
