In recent years,the development of automobile industry and technology has become increasingly obvious in the direction of informatization and intellectualization.Currently,smart vehicles mainly rely on sensors such as radar and cameras to make judgments and decisions.However,sensors have blind spots and may even fail at the same time,causing serious traffic accidents.Therefore,connected vehicles that use modern communications and network technology to share information in real time came into being.Connected vehicles can provide the breaking warning of vehicle ahead,intersection warning and many other services through V2V communication,and the exchanged information contains not only ordinary data,but also personal information such as identity,geographic location and other private data.Therefore,it is necessary to protect data security using a complete information security mechanism.This paper is mainly devoted to the security of connected vehicular data transmission.According to the characteristics of the connected vehicular communication,this paper proposes a centralized security mechanism based on CA(Certificate Authority)authentication and a decentralized security mechanism based on blockchain to realize the connected vehicular information security.In order to identify the nodes and ensure the integrity,confidentiality and privacy of the information,this paper first designs a centralized security mechanism based on CA authentication.Before encrypting and signing the data,CA is used for vehicle nodes authentication and effective key management.Innovatively,the security system is deployed and implemented on the on-board units and server in lab,and a security scenario with malicious node attack is designed to test and evaluate the system security and communication performance in campus.In the process of analyzing the centralized security mechanism,it is found that the entire network is subject to a trusted third party.Once the center is attacked,the vehicular identity authentication and the information verification are invalid.Therefore,this paper improves the security system and proposes a decentralized security mechanism based on blockchain.An application scenario of the combination of blockchain and connected vehicles is designed to simulate and evaluate the system security and communication performance.Experimental results and simulation results of the two security mechanisms show that both the centralized and decentralized security mechanism can protect the connected vehicular information security while meeting the requirement of communication delay.It is of great value in connected vehicle application and deployment,but the decentralized security mechanism has more advantages and prospects.
