The white body is an important part of the car,and its rigidity and strength are the important factors that affect the performance of the car,which is the ability of the car to resist the deformation of the pavement.Insufficient stiffness of the white body can make the body under the action of load and deformation is caused,untight seal leakage problem such as rain,water seepage,and cause the body vibration frequency is low,prone to structure resonance and sound;The insufficient strength of the white body can cause the deformation of the body parts,and the fatigue and endurance performance can affect the life of the car and ultimately affect the safety performance of the car.As a result,they for car safety,reliability and riding comfort has important influence.Using the finite element analysis method,this paper studies the process of modeling,analyzing and optimizing the white body of an SUV in an automobile company.The strength of the white body mainly analyzes the position of the maximum stress concentration,which is related to the yield strength of the material;The stiffness of the white body is compared with the test to verify its accuracy.The specific research is as follows:1)First use the quadrangle or triangular unit to separate the entire body and draw the white body model with Hypermesh on the basis of no increase in the weight of the white body.2)The model of the white body is analyzed by modal analysis,and the analysis results are compared with the design reference values to ensure the rationality of the model and avoid resonance,it lays the foundation for the analysis of stiffness and strength.3)Using ABAQUS software to calculate the strength of the model under four typical working conditions(vertical beating working conditions,braking working conditions,turning working conditions,turning braking conditions),the stress concentration position is analyzed in the result cloud map,After comparing with the yield strength of the body parts in the stress concentration position,the stress values under the four working conditions are satisfied,and the safety of the passengers is guaranteed.4)Using NASTRAN software to calculate the bending and torsion stiffness of the model,and check it with the test results,it is obtained that the bending and torsion stiffness of the model is roughly the same as the experimental data,ensuring the accuracy of the calculation and analysis;At the same time,after analyzing the stiffness of the installation point that is more important to the model,compared with the design reference value,it is obtained that the stiffness of individual installation points does not meet the requirements.After using OptiStrut optimization,it meets the design reference value.Through basic research,the structure of the white body can better and perfectly combined with design,verification must be the accuracy of the CAE analysis lays the foundation for the future,for improving the structure of the car and provide a critical analysis of practical significance.
