The Research On The Evolution Mechanism Of Goguryeo City Pattern Based On The Prototype Theory

The city of Goguryeo carried the national civilization and history for hundreds of years,which contains the essence of the unique cultural heritage.Goguryeo city expressed strong regional ethnic characteristics and multi-cultural fusion characteristics based on the ancient Central Plains culture.These characteristics are closely related to its own development regularity of Goguryeo nation,the transition of Goguryeo regime,geographical environment,and cultural ideology and so on.The research on the evolution mechanism of Goguryeo city based on the prototype theory is to sort out the development process and the driving factors.In addition,it digs out the urban features of the regional ethnic and urban construction culture from the cultural level.In this article which takes the prototype theory as the research basis,and the city pattern of Goguryeo as the object of discussion,it starts from the dynamic factors such as military defense,political system,geographical environment,economic technology and culture.With taking advantage of the dynamic(vertical)research methods,it means to study on that under the effect of above factors,the expression of urban archetypes of Goguryeo’s three periods could come into being what kind of the phase morphology and continuity it is.With taking advantage of the static(horizontal)research methods,the influence on prototypes of the Central Plains city to the development of Goguryeo city and their relations are specifically analyzed.To summarize,the research will eventually lead to a more comprehensive evolutionary mechanism of the Goguryeo urban system.This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss the research.In the first chapter,it elaborates the background of research,research purpose and significance,the current status and particularity of the research,and the main contents and methods of the research.At the end of the chapter,the research framework of the article has been clarified.In the second chapter,it firstly outlines the related concepts of the research basis of the project,namely,the definition of prototype theory,the definition of urban prototype theory,and the outline of Goguryeo city classification.Then,based on this theory,it further interprets the prototype types of Goguryeo city,and briefly analyzes the dynamic factors which impact on the evolution.At the end of the second chapter,it clarifies the research ideas of the paper and provides framework support for the in-depth discussion of the third and fourth chapters.In the third chapter,it analyzes the Goguryeo city pattern longitudinally from the perspective of dynamic evolution.In the fourth chapter,it analyzes the Goguryeo city pattern horizontally and breadthwise from the perspective of static evolution.Goguryeo is an important regime consisting in the cultural circle of ancient Northeast Asian.We research the evolution mechanism of Goguryeo city pattern,which has a certain enlightening effect on the study of Goguryeo architecture history and may help to explore the origin and inheritance of architectural culture in Northeast Asia.
