With the continuous expansion of China's electric power network,power grid layer mechanisms are increasing.More and more switch control cabinets are needed to control the line in an electrical substation.However,artificial recognition is slow and costs resources,to understand the state of the switch,identify the switch state and state of comparison with the software in line with the trend of development of modern industrial intelligent is becoming more and more important.Isolator switch is used as the most extensive and the largest equipment installation in grid system,there is no mature automatic detection system to achieve its automatic real-time detection and alarm of state.Based on this concept,my thesis introduces the machine vision and processing technology into the high-voltage isolator switch status detection process.The system uses computer vision to replace the artificial naked eye to realize the detection of the switch state.It is also important to realize the unattended substation by automatically recognizing the isolator switch status by means of the existing monitoring system of the substation.After making a field investigation of a substation in Sichuan province,in view of the structure of substation and transformer substation in the actual situation of isolator switch equipment,my thesis designs the detection system to read,preprocess,analyse,and screen the state image of isolator switch.My thesis also uses Hough line detection,edge detection,corner detection,feature matching methods to obtain status information of isolator switch and achieve the real-time status of alarm.My thesis adopts the existing image processing technology to design different detection means on the basis of different testing projects,makes a comparison between various detection methods for combination module with the existing manual inspection.My inspection research not only greatly reduces the workload of inspection staff,but can do real time capability of equipment inspection and enjoy bigger advantage by using the existing video monitoring hardware in a substation.
