China's mapping geographic information technology is entering a crucial period for construction of Wisdom China.Mapping Geographic information equipment manufacturing as an important part of the geographic information industry,is in the development of high-end equipment,geography and information technology stage.Total station is currently the highest utilization of ground mapping equipment,in the field of geodesy,engineering survey and deformation monitoring widely used.Currently on the market high-precision total station instrument is basically monopoly of imported equipment.This paper studies the theory and key technology of precision shafting of high precision total station with the background of high precision total station development.The paper is of great significance to promote the R & D and manufacture of domestic high-end total station and strengthen the construction of independent brand.First of all,the paper introduces the development and current situation of the total station at home and abroad,and expounds the basic structure and measurement principle of the total station.Based on the accuracy and grade of the total station,the technical indicators of the high-precision total station are determined.The factors influencing the accuracy of the total station are analyzed.Secondly,the errors of the three axes of the vertical axis,horizontal axis and telescope collimation axis in the structure of the total station are studied respectively.It is concluded that the inclination error of the vertical axis cannot be eliminated by direct mode and reversed mode observation.The key to determining the error of the total station axis is to improve the vertical axis accuracy.Thirdly,the types and characteristics of the precision shafting system are discussed,and the structure scheme of the vertical axis of the project is determined.Completed the spindle,sleeve,ball cage and adjust the pad of the specific structural design.The shafting system is combined with the interference control method and the interference amount is calculated.Then,the measurement method of shaft shaking error is expounded.The self-collimation method was used to design the shafting rocking error test platform.Shaking error test was carried out on three vertical shaft groups,and the experimental data were processed by Fourier harmonic analysis method.Finally,the total station of the three mounted bead shafts was tested for a standard deviation of the horizontal angle.The test data and the results provide a good basis for the development of follow-up high precision total station prototype.
