Since the issuance of the "Medium-and Long-term Railway Network Plan" for the first time in 2004,China's railway construction industry has flourished.However,as a linear non-pollution project,although the railway Engineering produces less pollutants,it has a greater impact on the ecological environment.Due to the geographical distribution and the needs of urban development,railway Engineering inevitably pass through some important ecologically sensitive areas such as nature reserves during the route selection process.It is the cornerstone of safeguarding national ecological security.There are often precious and rare animal and plant species,and the ecosystems in the protected areas are also typical or specific.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the ecological impact of railway Engineerings on nature reserves for the protection of ecological environment in China.Taking JingYue railway crossing the East Dongting Lake National Nature Reserve as an example,Through the analysis of the ecological impact of the railway Engineering on nature reserves,the evaluation factors were screened from the three aspects of ecology,environment and landscape,and the ecological impact assessment indicators were established.The system constructs a BP artificial neural network evaluation model,and carries out two improvements to the model.First,the training sample is expanded by randomly generating data between the evaluation index standard values;second,the LM algorithm is applied to the traditional BP neural network,so it is optimized.Finally,an improved BP artificial neural network model was used to evaluate the ecological impact of the Jingyue Railway crossing the East Dongting Lake Nature Reserve.The results of the study indicate that the ecological impact of the BP neural network on the Jingyue Railway crossing the Dongting Lake Nature Reserve is estimated to be 0.299,and the corresponding ecological impact is a minor effect.Compared with the traditional ecological impact assessment method,the BP artificial neural network method is more objective.This model is applicable to evaluate the ecological impact of the Jingyue Railway crossing the East Dongting Lake Nature Reserve,and can be used for the ecological impact of the railway Engineering on nature reserves and can provides a simple,objective assessment.
