Scroll compressor is positive displacement compressor,and the leakage of meshing clearance has an important influence on its working performance.At present,the simulation method is often adopted.In this paper,the structure mesh simulation method is proposed for scroll compressor,which could solve the mesh problem of too little in meshing clearance and get more accurate results.The partition modeling method is based on the geometric characteristics of the profile,and the flow field is divided into double circular arc and circle involute region.According to the different geometric characteristics of different regions,the two part is divided into a structured grid,which is united a structured mesh model.The structured mesh model has the advantages of uniform mesh distribution and the more mesh in the meshing clearance.Structured moving grid program is a node control method,which can realize the identification and control of the structured grid nodes.Finally,the numerical simulation is used to study the internal flow distribution characteristics and discharge process and the leakage field in the meshing clearance of the scroll compressor.By comparing the simulation results of the two mesh models,the results obtained from the structured dynamic mesh model are more accurate than that of the unstructured dynamic mesh model.The pressure field in the working chamber of the scroll compressor is distributed evenly,there is a significant pressure gradient between the working chambers,and there is a certain over compression phenomenon at the discharge process.The internal temperature field distribution is not uniform in crescent shaped chambers.The top and bottom have low temperature distribution along the axis direction in the meshing clearance.This is mainly caused by the meshing clearance leakage.At the top and bottom of the working chamber,there is a clear vortex,which has a certain role in the barrier for leakage.In the discharge process,there is a certain amount of vortex in the center of the working chamber and the fixed scroll side of the flow is relatively large.The pressure loss in the opening process of the discharge hole is larger than that in the closed process,so the design of the discharge vent should pay attention to the opening characteristic.The research on numerical simulation method of scroll compressor has great significance on the research of the internal flow field and the design of the profile.
