In recent years,BIM has swept across the traditional civil engineering industry. With the advantages in information, visualization and parameterization,BIM has become a prevailing trend and at the same time it has been actively researching, appling and spreading in the design, construction and operation industry. However,in the field of bridges, the application of BIM has lagged behind, the combination of BIM and large-scale bridge monitoring projects has just started.During the construction monitoring process,BIM's visualization technology in its intuitive form enables engineers to identify problems quickly and clearly, which ensure the safety and quality of bridge construction, and provide new ideas for application of BIM technology in bridge monitoring. In this thesis, the BIM construction monitoring visualization for the Nujiang Bridge(a truss arch with main span of 490m)of Darui Railway is studied, and the visualization function is extended to the general steel arch bridge.Besides,Dynamo and Web system is used to explor transmission and storage of information in BIM,which has important technical progress significance for promoting BIM visualization and informationization in bridge monitoring. The main work and content of the thesis are as follows:(1)Visible generality of steel truss arch:BIM technology is applied to establish the full monitoring bridge model of the Nujiang Bridge, then the data in monitoring construction and actual one are related to the model. With the use of color-level display of bars,real-time visualization of the arch bridge monitoring process are realized,It solves the problem that the monitoring results caused by text data are not intuitive and poor visibility, and improves the reliability of on-site monitoring work.Though the Dynamo visual alarm program prepared by this thesis is used for the establishment of the Nujiang Bridge,it takes into account the generality of the other steel arch bridges. As far as possible, the common parameters in different steel truss archs were preserved, and they were externalized, while the program was compiled according to the general flow,so the general performance was retained at the maximum degree.Because the operation of the program is based on the processing of external data,it can be applied to other steel truss arch when changing the internal parameters of the program and the related parameters of the bars according to the actual situation.(2)BIM framwork in Bridge Engineering: This theisi established a complete BIM framework, using Revit model core software for model building,Midas for model calculation,Dynamo for visual control during construction, and network data management platform for remote control and post-production management of data.A relatively complete BIM framework is constructed, which can be used to expand the application of BIM.(3)Monitoring framework based on BIM: The main contents of monitoring include the collection of constructed data and the calculation of the previous period, the monitoring and calculation of the entire constructed process, and the construction of real-time monitoring and control as well. This thesis uses Midas/Civil software to perform pre-calculation of the structure, uses Dynamo to process result files of Midas, and compiles monitoring instruction programs so that one-touch operation can be performed on Midas document results, and each rod member and each stage of construction can be automatically generated. At the same time, the visualization function of Dynamo and Revit is used for real-time monitoring and control. The final data information is stored on the Web site, and a complete monitoring function is realized, which has guiding significance for the monitoring of similar bridges.
