As an important part of bridge,steel deck pavement is affected by some combined factors such as vehicle load,environment and climate,which result in unfavorable pavement stress conditions.Nowadys,many bridges in shortly appear some diseases after openning to traffic,the rut of steel deck pavement is one of the main disease.Most of the existing researches in this area analyzed the rut of Steel deck pavement at several constant temperatures only,rather than considering the specific coastal environment of the bridge.This paper focuses on the pavement structure of "high elastic modified asphalt mixture +gussasphalt concrete".The temperature field of steel deck pavementis calculated first,then the creep parameters of the asphalt mixture were obtained by the test.Besides,the finite element model is used to analyze the influence of high temperature and heavy load on the rut.First,this paper uses the subroutine interface provided by ABAQUS to realize the boundary conditions of solar radiation and surface film changing with time by a user subroutine programmed.The temperature field of the steel deck pavement is analyzed every month,and then we derive the distribution characteristics of the temperature field in the pavement.Then,for the selected high-elastic modified asphalt mixture and gussasphalt concret,the creep parameters of asphalt mixture at different temperature levels are tested by uniaxial rut plate creep experiment.While the creep test is analyzed by finite element software which will verify the creep parameters.Finally,the local box girder model is established baesd on the pavement structure of "high elastic modified asphalt mixture(35mm)+gussasphalt concrete(40mm)" and the rutting depth is calculated under continuous temperature and constant temperature conditions which are affected by some factors,such as heavy load,the high temperature condition,load position and the combination of different pavement thickness.We infer the impact of various factors on the development of rut depth.Based on the statistics of Nanjing Yangtze River fourth bridge traffic volume in 2016,we convert the axle load into the cumulative role of time.As a result,the rutting depth is 2.014 mm which calculated by the finite element software.While according to the test report of 2016 Nanjing Yangtze River fourth Bridge,the rut measured average is 2.145 mm,so this finite element simulation has great reliability in this paper.
