In recent years,wind power generation has become the fastest growing type.Jiangmen region is rich in wind resources,and her wind power generation is in a stage of rapid development.The current installed capacity,251 MW,has been put into operation,and in the next five years' planning extra 578.25 MW will be put into operation.Compared with the conventional power,active power output controllability of wind power,reactive power and voltage support ability is weak,and with the wind electricity equipment connected at the end of the network,the system network structure is weak as well,thus wind power will inevitably cause many problems.In this paper,with the wind turbine model in BPA package,the impact of wind power on the Jiangmen power grid,especially reactive voltage and active power flow control,are comprehensively analyzed.The problem of static stablity of the Power Grid will be analyzed after the wind power connected to the Jiangmen power grid,basic on the actual operation data.After analyzing the problems,the control strategies of active power and reactive power are proposed.In the terms of active power controlling,the Local control just concerns about the generation forecast of wind power and control capability according to forecast curve,because the scale of the wind power is not very large.However,considering that there will be a large scale of wind power connected to the power grid in the future,a method of active power coordinated control for wind farm and AGC is proposed.As for the reactive power control,this paper analyzes three operation modes of the power grid: normal load,peak load and holiday load,and make suggestions to control the reactive power in Jiangmen.Moreover,the multi-objective dynamic reactive power control method is analyzed in order to confront the situation of large scale wind power integration in the future.
