Landscape Security Design Of Children's Outdoor Activities In Guangzhou Urban Residential Community

Children are the hope and future of our country,.The accidents can cause great harm to children and their families.It is the duty of landscape architects to build a security outdoor environment for children.Guangzhou as the leading edge of real estate development,has been leading the country in the design of residential community.The study of the landscape security design of children's outdoor activities in urban residential community in Guangzhou is of great significance to promote the theoretical research and design practice.Based on the psychological and behavioral characteristics of children aged 0-12 years,this paper discusses the relationship between the spatial characteristics of outdoor activities and children's psychological and behavioral safety through the analysis of domestic and foreign research literatures.The paper carried out field research on the safety status of children's activity site in 13 residential areas in 6 districts of guangzhou,and collected 157 valid questionnaires from parents.Then the paper summarizes and analyzes the safety problems of children's playground in guangzhou city.The research methods of interdisciplinary comprehensive research,literature research,field investigation,questionnaire survey and inductive deduction are used in this paper.Combining theory with practice,the strategy of landscape security design of children's playground should be considered in the following three aspects.1.Security design of space elements includes site selection and spatial layout.The site avoids the blind Angle and the flow of people to the area.The entrance of the playground should have a safe transition space separating from garden road.The location is selected in sunny,low-wind,shaded areas with good weather.The space layout should be separated by moving and static.;separation of activities of children of different ages.High frequency use facilities should be away from other facilities.Safety red lines are set around the facilities to avoid accidental injury.2.Security design of site environmental includes plant planting,pavement installation and ancillary facilities.Plant farming should distinguish between different categories.It is forbidden to plant poisonous plants.It is not suitable for plants that have thorns,insects,juice,and flocculates.Pay attention to the collocation of plant group "trees + shrubs + ground",and control the appropriate height.Protective materials should be laid out throughout the area to effectively reduce falling damage.3.Security design of the facility elements includes the reasonableness of the facility dimensions and the safety details of various common facilities.Finally,this paper takes the design of the children's playground of H block in the green land city as an example,and discusses the application of the landscape security design strategy and method.
