Currently, the ground public transportation has about 1000 lines in Beijing, and its total volume of passenger traffic of daily average is more than 8 million. So it becomes the biggest public transportation network in the global urban public transit passenger flow.As the basis of public transport management, the transit passenger flow information can not only provide basis for daily dispatch, but also give references to optimize the public transportation network. The analyses of temporal and spatial feature from transit passenger flow are conducted on the recorded data which combined the GPS,driving and the swiping card of bus passengers in this paper. The main research works are as follows:(1)The background of data analysis of bus passenger flow and research status at home and abroad has been studied fully in the paper.By using comparative analysis,we choose bus IC card collecting method to get the information of basic passenger flow. And in this paper,we introduce the acquisition process and data structure of bus IC card,as well as the aided information of bus lines, bus scheduling and GPS of public vehicles.(2)In the paper, the feature of abnormal data has been summarized and analyzed.Specific to the feature, the corresponding data processing method and quality control are given. We introduce the general trend of passenger flow and distribution law,and summarize the integrated analytical methods of passenger data, including passenger flow in the station, sectional passenger flow, line flow and some other indicators of IC card.(3)Taking Beijing public transportation for example,we get the spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of passenger flow in December 2015.Aiming at the characteristics,we analyze the data to provide support for operation scheduling and routes optimization.
