Renewable energy is an important energy resource in our country and has played a great role in promoting economic development such as meetting the demand of energy,improving energy structure,reducing environment pollution and so on.Biomass is one of renewable energy resource with lower energy density.It can be turned into bio-oil resources with higher energy density via chemical conversion technology.However,bio-oil has the properties of high viscosity,poor thermal stability,high water content,corrosion resistance and low calorific value and so on.The key to utilization of biomass resources is the upgrading methods of bio-oil.In this paper,the basic physical properties of biomass pyrolysis oil and chemical composition are analyzed,and the relationship between composition and physical properties is established.Subsequently,the reaction performance of the blending biomass pyrolysis oil with vacuum residuum is investigated and the thermal reaction rules blending with biomass pyrolysis oil is explored.Finally,the properties and structure of petroleum coke is studied to explore the influence of blending biomass pyrolysis oil.It was found that the biomass pyrolysis oil has the properties of high water content,high oxygen content,corrosion resistance,high viscosity,poor stability and lower calorific value than fossil fuels.It includes almost all kinds of oxygen-containing compounds as evidenced by GC-MS,in decreasing order of phenolic compounds,polycyclic aromatic compounds and ketone compounds.By exploring the reaction performance of the vacuum residuum blending with biomass pyrolysis oil,it was found that shengli residuum mixed with the biomass pyrolysis oil made the liquid yield decreases,the coke yield increases,and oxygenated compounds in the liquid product increased under the condition of 480 ? and 60 min.With the increase of the ratio of mixed biomass pyrolysis oil the moisture,volatile,ash and oxygen content of coke increase while fixed carbon content,nitrogen content and sulfur content decrease.The coke combustion reaction move to the low temperature area,and mass loss rate decreases.Otherwise,the combustion reaction intensity reduces,burning time increase relatively;The structure of the coke shows that the channel increases,while pore size and specific surface area increases;The optical structure from mosaic structure gradually transformed into small wan type structure made the formation of projectile focal subdued;The microcrystalline structure order tends to destroy and the degree of graphitization tends to reduce;The coke surface show that phenol,alcohol or ethers carbon structure and carbonyl oxygen,carboxyl oxygen structure content are increased.
