As we know,there are abundant oil and gas resources in China.However,the resources are unevenly distributed across the country.Therefore,the pipelines must be constructed to transport the oil and gas resources everywhere.The Pipelines generally require supporting structures,which are called pipeline bridges,to support them through the rivers and valleys.The long-span pipeline bridge which spans hundreds of meters is generally built on the vital position for oil and gas transportation.The pipe bridge is a large steel structure,usually equipped with cable system to maintain its stability.As time grows,the carrying capacity of the long-span pipeline bridge will gradually decay because of the effect of corrosion,oxidation,perennial static load and live load.Without regulation,when the bearing capacity of the long-span pipeline bridge reduces to a certain degree,it will inevitably lead to structural failure and cause huge economic losses.In the light of that,this paper carries out the research about how to monitor the safety of the long-span pipeline bridge effectively.1.This paper firstly researches the related literature about the long-span pipeline bridge,and summarizes the composition form,structure characteristic,and mechanics analysis method of the pipeline bridge.Although there have been some researches about the health monitoring of bridges and other similar structures,there are few reports about the study on the health monitoring of the pipeline bridge so far.Therefore,the research about health monitoring system of the long-span pipeline bridge is carried out,based on the characteristics of the long-span pipeline bridge.Then the sensing system,data acquisition system,data processing and analyzing system,assessment system and warning system of the health monitoring system are designed in detail.2.In order to expound the health monitoring system better,this paper carries out the design and installation work of the system,taking a domestic long-span pipeline bridge as an example.First of all,the FEM simulation in ANSYS of the pipeline bridge is implemented to obtain the responses under the conditions in gravity,pigging,extreme wind load and temperature load.Secondly,the sensors are installed on the monitoring position and the transmission lines are connected;then the work of date acquisition,processing and storage is completed;and the safety state evaluation method of the pipeline bridge is established to determine the relationship between the safety status of monitoring sites and the overall safety status of the pipeline bridge.Finally,the remote monitoring software is developed to realize the remote real-time intelligent monitoring for the pipe bridge.
