With the rapid development of Chinese economy,the traffic pressure is increasing in many places.The highway transportation infrastructure expansion in the original basis will help it to improve operational efficiency,save transportation time,and it is a key way to solve the current transport problems.There are also a large number of Bi-directional four lane highways in China's previously constructed expressways,however,some Bi-directional four lane highways can no suitable for the current traffic demand.Therefore,the public highway renovation and expansion through reasonable means making the original highway to multi-lane road has become one of the important research projects.Lianhuo highway plays an important role in Chinese highway network,part of it was renovated and expanded in 2011.But Lintong to Xi'an Bi-directional four lane highways is still a major technical problem.It has become a bottleneck restricting of Lianhuo line in Shaanxi Province,so it is imperative to expand the construction of the highway.According to the actual situation and combined with the actual situation,this paper has determined the expansion plan.The paper determines a reasonable construction plan proposed by the two programs and discusses their advantages and disadvantages,analyzes the speed limit of construction area of 60 km / h and 80 km / h,and constructs the contingency plans and vehicle diversion schemes according to the actual situation in the construction area.Through the construction of a complete implementation plan for similar domestic highway expansion of the case to provide reference and recommendations.
