With the rapid development of China’s national economy,the scale of the infrastructure has been continuously expanding,and the available buildings have become increasingly tense.Many original venues that are not suitable for building requirements are also increasingly being expropriated as construction sites.In order to strengthen and strengthen the natural weak foundation to increase the strength of the foundation,ensure the stability of the foundation,reduce the compressibility of the foundation and reduce the settlement and differential settlement,the geotechnical staff of our country has introduced and absorbed many advanced ground improvement measures from various countries in the world.Means to adapt to local conditions and developed a number of new methods suitable for our country’s characteristics.In foundation engineering,the treatment of backfill soil has always been a problem,especially in the southwest region,mostly in the hilly area.To increase the construction land,the foundation treatment is often performed by “digging the highland to fill the valley”.The project data is derived from Sichuan.First-hand information was obtained from the investigation of the foundation treatment project of the teaching building of the No.1 Middle School in Zigong City,Yunnan Province.The secondary school has an advantageous geographic location,convenient transportation and a wide open space.The proposed teaching building is a 5-story frame structure.The foundation is in the form of a separate column of reinforced concrete.The existing natural foundation bearing capacity is≤120 KPa.The eigenvalue of the foundation bearing capacity of the upper load is greater than 280 kPa,and the depth requirement is 1.5 m.The site is mainly backfilled and the entire site is covered.For the newly backfilled soils of 3 to 7m,mainly clay soil,mixed with a small amount of gravel sand,stratum conditions are complex,and the thickness of the layers is not uniform.Based on the site investigation report conclusions,consult relevant regulatory documents,first consider the foundation Shallow treatment,considering the layout of CFG piles with the clay layer as the bearing layer.That is,the first step will be to inject the pile into the backfill area to achieve the reinforcement effect of the backfill area.The second step is to achieve the expected effect of the load capacity of the backfill area.The CFG pile is used for the next construction to ensure stability..Second,a deep foundation scheme can be designed using pile foundations.Finally,based onexperience,three treatment options were selected,namely,CFG piles were used for shallow treatment of the project,pile foundations were used for deep treatment,and CFG piles and gravel piles were tentatively combined to give full play to these two types of piles.The advantage of type is the use of secondary composite ground treatment methods to reinforce the foundation.For the three programs,through comprehensive comparison of the duration,project cost,and project quality,it has been repeatedly demonstrated and optimized.This optimization design is based on an in-depth analysis of engineering data,a solid grasp of design principles,and a mastery of the relevant technologies at home and abroad.After a series of analysis and argumentation,the final optimization was determined as a gravel pile to reinforce the backfill soil.CFG piles were used for the second reinforcement treatment of the reinforced backfill soil as the foundation treatment project.
