In this paper,the following work is done for the practical problems of high-speed train wheel repair.The shape of LM wheel tread with only 4 flange thickness in the 2003 edition of China Railway Standard,it is far from enough to meet the wheel profile after wheel repair.This article is in line with the technical requirements of China Railway Standard,the wheel tread profile of any flange thickness in the specified range is achieved.Based on wheel rail contact geometry analysis and wear mechanism,preliminarily estimated the wheel offset and the area of the deformation area,and established simulation model of wheel tread wear.The tread curve equation of wheel rail wear after simulation is given.For the worn tread curve,recovering the tread shape with different flange thickness,the method of determining the optimal repair quantity of wheel diameter is studied.In order to realize the above theory and method,utilizing VB.NET,self-developed professional software.The software can generate the wheel tread profile of any flange thickness in the specified range and its related curve parameters;Combining with wheel tread wear model,achieve tread curves of various tread thickness treads with different mileage wear、distribution of tread wear and its repair quantity of tread;For the wear curve,give the optimum repair quantity of wheel diameter required for restoring different wheel flange thickness tread profiles and repair effect index.Using professional software to proceed simulation wear test for various flange thickness in the different running mileage.fixing simulation mileage to proceed simulation wear test of wheel tread with different flange thickness,besides,a series of software modules are analyzed.Analysed the changing trend of the wheel flange thickness abrasion loss、the wheel diameter abrasion loss、the optimal repair quantity of wheel diameter and the total loss of wheel diameter in one cycle with the original flange thickness.fixing flange thickness to proceed simulation wear test in the different running mileage,besides,a series of software modules are analyzed.Analysed the changing trend of the wheel flange thickness abrasion loss and the wheel diameter abrasion loss with running mileage.proceed simulation wear test of wheel tread with different flange thickness in the different running mileage,besides,a series of software modules are analyzed.Analysed the changing trend of the total loss of wheel diameter in one cycle with the wheel flange thickness and running mileage.
