Design Of The Improvement Of Plant Landscape Quality Of Hua Sui Ecological Farm In Changsha City

Huasui Ecological Farm in Changsha city is a multi-functional modern farm,with catering reception,fishing leisure,games and expansive activities,physical fitness,sightseeing and picking,conferences and residing combined together.It was completed in2010,having been open to the public for seven years.It is one of the most representative farms in Changsha city.Plants landscape is a key factor to show styles and features in modern farms and to measure the environment quality.For plants change with seasons,they have a relatively strong plasticity.Aiming at reforming and improving existing plants landscapes in the farm,based on detailed field survey,this project learns from valuable references and deficiency to be avoided from Changsha Yinxin Farm,Baiguoyuan and Xiangtai Agricultural Science and Technology Farm.It adheres to the design principle of combining functions of ecology,economy and art with culture.It aims at intensifying emotional appeal form art and improving the ornamental value of plants landscape.The project combines theories of environmental design,phytocoenology and ecological aesthetics.In the project,the farm is divided into five major regional landscapes,namely the reception region at the entrance,waterscape for fishing,regions for vegetable picking,planting regions of fruit trees,regions for expansive recreations.The prominent problems in these five regions are reformed and improved respectively in the project.On both sides of roads in the reception region,grass flower belt landscape is supplemented,making tourists feel glorious scenery of flowering in four seasons in the farm before their entrance.Clustering plants enrich and beautify the landscapes on both sides of the gate,giving tourists a brilliant vision.In waterscape for fishing,by means of changing the modelings of ponds and collocations of aquatic plants,waterscape in the farm become more plentiful and vigorous.In fishing areas,waterfront plants are added;ecological fishing pavilions for overshadowing are established.In regions for vegetable picking,by building specialized picking roads,planting edible and enjoyable plants and low leaf-color plants,the organic vegetable gardens with competitive products are built.In planting regions of fruittrees,by removing fence,adding understory plants,its scenery become more colorful and abundant.In regions for expansive recreations,micro landform is rebuilt;floer boder landscapes are supplemented.It makes children further enjoy the fun brought by the environment,wandering in the natural paradise.In the regions for expansive activities,by means of clustering plants,plants landscapes are beautified and the surroundings are improved.Through a series of reform and improvement,the greening degree of Huasui Ecological Farm is significantly improved,demonstrating the landscape effects and being the model of reform and improvement of plants landscape among farms in same classification.
